Join us for an intimate afternoon of live music inside Manning House — Walton Farm’s beautifully preserved 1845 single-room timber hut — as we celebrate the release of Children During Wartime, the debut solo album by acclaimed guitarist Chris Parkinson. Best known as one half of The Yearlings, Chris is one of Australia’s most expressive and respected guitarists, with over 35 years of performance and recording experience. Children During Wartime, created in response to the invasion of Ukraine, is a haunting and heartfelt instrumental record filled with emotional depth and quiet power.
